MONEY BLOG DESIGN

20 Jul 2012 11:38 AM | Hot Guy (Administrator)
When you build a house, an architectural design is prepared to show the location of the doors, windows, living room, kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms, car garage and storage area. The architectural design will avoid or minimize mistakes and expenses in constructing the house. It will help in making the house construction work easier and efficiently. The same practice and concept also apply in creating a website and/or blog.

Before you start your money blog project, you must have a money blog design to guide you what you want in your blog. The design is a list of information that you want to include in your blog. Below is an example of my design when I created my website/blog, www.GoHotMoney.com. I chose to combine a website and blog to have more online income opportunities.

1.  Purposes of my website/blog

  • To generate income from advertising and affiliate marketing
  • To sell products and services
  • To solicit cash donations from the Internet community to cover my website/blog expenses
  • To raise fund for scholarship and other worthy projects
  • To provide the Internet community with valuable information through my blog

2.  Domain name

  • Tag line or advertising slogan

3.  Navigation bars

  • Advertise & Blog Table of Contents
  • Million Hall of Fame
  • Join Million Hall of Fame
  • Hall of Fame Sponsors
  • Donate
  • Donate-Scholarship Fund
  • Donate-Water Tank
  • Buy Pixel/Billboard
  • Advertisements
  • Blog
  • Price & Benefits
  • How It Works
  • FAQ
  • Contact Us
  • About Us
  • Terms of Use
  • Privacy Policy
  • Copyright & Intellectual Property Policy
  • Site Map

4.  Website/Blog Building Approaches

4.1.  First Phase

  • Open a checking account and request for a bank debit card
  • Buy a domain name
  • Open an account with WildApricot.com – 30 Trial Period and study the website & blog authoring software
  • Create all web pages corresponding to all the navigation bars
  • Open an account with Google.com.
  • Download the free OpenOffice.org Suite software to your computer hard drive and use the Writer and Calc programs
  • Visit TheFreeDictionary.com and store the website address in your Favorites for convenient uploading
  • Buy a Logo design software
  • Create about 30 blog articles and put Google adsense ads on the articles
  • Submit website/blog to search engines/crawlers using free submission services

4.2.  Second Phase

  • Open an account with various advertisers and affiliate marketers and include the ads on your web pages
  • Create web pages for paid advertisers, donations and fund raising
  • Continue writing blog articles and put different ads on each article
  • Create a site map and submit it to Google.com and Yahoo.com for search engine optimization
  • Go to your Google.com account and visit your Web Analytics to verify if your website/blog has broken navigation links, search engine crawling errors, and some recommended actions to be done to improve your website/blog performance.

After reviewing your money website/blog design, you can start preparing your detailed checklist to serve as your guide and facilitate the creation of your website/blog. Every time you finish an activity, you should put a check mark on the line item. If you miss an activity, you can insert it on the appropriate line of your checklist. Later, you may say that creating a website/blog is really easy.
