If you have a website or blog, you can apply for Amazon account as an affiliate. You can assign an entire web page to create an Amazon Store showing various products from appliances to shoes. If someone buys Amazon products through your website or blog, you will get 4%-8% referral commissions from Amazon.com.
3. Engage in freelance article writing
Use search engines, like Google and Bing, to search for websites that offer freelance article writing. You need a blog where companies can see actual articles you have written. If your application is approved, a company will give some topics to write on with specific length like 400-500 words. If your final article is accepted, you may get $5 or more per article.
4. Consign Photographs
If photography is your hobby, you can consign your album of photos to iStockPhoto.com or other photo websites. You sign up with the photo website of your choice, read the terms and conditions, and the payment terms. Browse the website on popular photos and submit similar items for fast sale. Another alternative is to create your own website to upload all your photos. Your website will become your portfolio.
5. Auction your unused things on eBay
You need an inexpensive camera to picture the items you want to auction at eBay. You need to open a bank checking or savings account and PayPal.com account where payments will be made to you. You must agree with eHow to share your Google.com account because if someone clicks on the Google.com's ads, the ad commissions will be credited to your Google.com account. You will get 70% of the commission and the 30% will go to eHow.
8. Create an e-book
Visit Amazon.com and other online e-book sellers and browse the e-book titles. Observe what specific areas or categories that the e-books have not been explored but are needed by people. Based on those areas or categories, create e-books and sell them to Amazon.com and/or other online e-book sellers. Amazon.com offers 70% royalty on e-books sold.
9. Create an in-demand niche site
You can subscribe to a free WordPress or Blogger account and create a blog to establish your small niche blog, which may consist of 2 or 3 web pages. Open an account with PayPal.com to accept payments from your niche site. One example of a niche site is one that teaches on how to create an e-book. The information that can be read from your niche site is all the basic and summary information. The detailed e-book creation processes are explained in your actual e-book that you are selling. When a customer buys your e-book, you will receive your payment from your PayPal.com account.
10. Offer search engine optimization service
A lot of websites and blogs do not get high traffic because the owners do not know how to attract traffic to their sites. Read books and online information and study how search engine optimization works. Once you master the techniques, you can offer your services to site owners. You can charge starting from $100 for simple to complex search engine optimization projects.
11. Convert offline businesses to online entrepreneurs
Offer services to business owners that do not have online presence by creating websites. Submit proposals showing the scope of work, total cost, work completion, and the expected website results. Website creators can demand from $500 to $5,000 depending on the complexity of the website.
12. Install WordPress plugins
WordPress blogs are very popular and used by a majority of bloggers. Thousands of WordPress plugins are created by various programmers that are being offered free to be incorporated in the WordPress blogs. However, most of the bloggers do not know how to incorporate plugins into their blogs. It is an opportunity for you to study the free WordPress and try to install some plugins to your own blog. Once you become confident, you can offer your service and charge $5 for each plugin you install.
