PLEASE GIVE MONEY
Please GIVE money to one or both of the following worthy projects that will benefit young, poor, industrious and talented people. You know that you give tips to waiters/waitresses, taxi drivers and hotel staff; money to beggars or panhandlers; tithes to your church; and Christmas and birthday gifts. We appeal to your kindness and generosity to also give some money to our worthy projects. Thank you.
1.1. What: A huge, high-rise water tank, to be operated by solar power, will be installed to irrigate a 1.2-hectare (2.9 acres) organic vegetable farm.
1.2. Why: The farm is planted with organic vegetables only for about 3 to 4 months in a year because it depends on unpredictable rainfall. There is no irrigation dam near the farm. As a result, the use of the farm is not maximize and farmers have no jobs for the rest of the year. Poor farmers cannot afford to send their children to high schools and universities because of lack of money.
1.3. Where: The organic vegetable farm is presently, and the proposed solar-powered water tank to be, located at San Juan, Batangas, Philippines.
1.4. When: The fund raising starts on July 07, 2012 and once the fund goal is realized, the solar-powered water tank will be installed.
1.5. How: The high-rise water tank will be powered by the sun energy to save on expensive electricity. The sun energy, to be captured by solar panels, will be stored in big batteries to be connected to the deep well pump which will draw water beneath the ground to be deposited into the water tank. Using a timer and drip irrigation system, the water will be distributed to the organic vegetables 3 times a day, 365 days a year. During the 3 to 4 months of raining, the solar-powered water tank will not be used and some maintenance work will be done.
1.6. Impact on the Lives of People: If the farm will be planted with organic vegetables the whole year round, many farmers will be employed; farmers can send their children to high schools and universities; agricultural stores will increase their sales; the farm can offer more organic vegetables to the public; and you, as the donors, will feel happy and make a BIG DIFFERENCE on the lives of many people.
1.7. Donors Appreciation: To acknowledge your kindness and generosity, through your donations, a "DONATED BY www.GOHOTMONEY.com SUPPORTERS" message will be painted in BIG LETTERS on the outside of the high-rise water tank that can be seen by many people.
1.9. A Million Thanks for your kindness and generosity. Please tell this worthy project to your family and friends.
1.10. When the solar-powered water tank raising fund goal is met, we will post some pictures of the construction of the water tank and improvements on the organic vegetable farming. We may also post some pictures of farmers who benefited from your kind donations and publish, through this Site, their "Thank You" messages.
2.1. What: A scholarship fund to be funded by visitors of this Site and administered by a local college or university.
2.2. Why: Young and poor but talented students cannot go to college or university because their parents are poor farmers and no steady income. Farmers' children can finish elementary education only. High schools and colleges/universities charge tuition and miscellaneous fees. Textbooks and school materials are expensive and no available and reliable transportation in going from/to rural homes to the city where colleges and universities are located.
2.3. Where: The scholarship fund will be provided to young, poor but talented students residing in the rural areas of Janao-Janao, San Juan, Batangas, Philippines.
2.4. When: The tentative target date for the scholarship grant will be in the June 2013 - May 2014 school year if the scholarship fund goal is realized.
2.5. How: You, as kind donor, donate some money to our Scholarship Fund. Once the fund goal is met, the money will be deposited into a trust account to be administered by Batangas Eastern College (BEC). BEC will screen student applicants based on poverty level and academic performance. BEC will submit to this Site Owner the qualified scholars. Depending on the availability of scholarship fund deposited into a trust, the Site Owner will award one or more scholarship grants (covering tuition and miscellaneous fees and required college textbooks) for one semester. If a scholar maintains the required minimum grades and depending on the availability of scholarship funds, another scholarship grant will be awarded to the scholar for the next semester. And so on.
2.6. Impact on the Lives of People: Your money donation will make a BIG DIFFERENCE on the lives of young and poor but talented students. Someday, these students will be employed and might become good leaders in their communities; become soldiers to defend their country; provide services to patients and elder people in the hospitals and hospices; become business owners who will employ workers, and become teachers to teach the young generation.
2.7. Donors Appreciation: An agreement between this Site Owner and Batangas Eastern College will be made that all scholarships are awarded by: www.GOHOTMONEY.com SCHOLARSHIP FUND SUPPORTERS.
2.9. A Million Thanks for your kindness and generosity. Please tell this worthy project to your family and friends.
2.10. When the Scholarship Fund goal is met and scholarship grants are awarded, we will post some pictures of the scholars and the Batangas Eastern College to this Site. We will publish the scholars' "Thank You" messages for your kind donation.
